In-Home Respite

In-Home Respite — Mid-Missouri Supported Living

In-Home Respite

In-Home Respite provides relief for families and caretakers by ensuring the individual they support is safely supervised by our trained staff — in the home or community, including recreational and educational activities.

In-Home Respite provides qualified, trained staff to support an individual in their own home — giving family members or designated caretakers the break they need. MMSL staff can provide respite care during the day, in the evenings, or overnight, depending on the family's schedule and the individual's support needs.

Respite support isn't limited to staying home. MMSL staff can accompany individuals into the community for recreational and educational activities, errands, or outings — keeping life active and engaging while caregivers rest, work, or attend to other responsibilities.

In-Home Respite services are available in Boone County and surrounding Mid-Missouri communities. Authorization for respite care is provided through Missouri's Division of Developmental Disabilities DD Waiver program. Contact MMSL to learn more about getting started or to discuss current availability.
