At Mid-Missouri Supported Living, we host all policy documents publicly so every team member — regardless of tech access — can retrieve current policies at any time, including off-hours. All documents are reviewed regularly and reflect current practice.
Required Public Disclosure
MMSL-200 — Abuse and Neglect Reporting and Prevention
MMSL has zero tolerance for abuse, neglect, or misuse of funds/property and complies fully with 9 CSR 10-5.200. All allegations are reported to the Department of Mental Health and investigated promptly. Individuals, guardians, and staff are trained on how to recognize and report concerns. MMSL-209 — Individual Grievance
Any individual supported or their parent/guardian may file a complaint or grievance at any time. All grievances are heard promptly, investigated, and where possible resolved informally. No one will be retaliated against or denied services for filing a grievance.

MMSL protects the rights of all individuals it supports in accordance with federal and state statutes (9 CSR 45-3.030, RSMo §§630.110/.115/.120, 42 CFR 441.301). Individuals are presumed competent; rights and citizenship are never limited because someone receives services.
MMSL-216 — Due Process & Right Restrictions
Any restriction of an individual's rights requires informed consent, documented justification, time limits, less-restrictive alternatives considered first, and review by the person-centered team. Individuals may appeal restrictions through MMSL's due process procedure.
